ABOUT BORONIA KITCHEN

Boronia Kitchen was born from a love of food and family — and a working partnership which has spanned more than 20 years. The team is excited to show you what their kitchen cohorts are cooking up and don’t mind if you spend some time enjoying the view of the busy kitchen.

The site on Pittwater Road, has long been a part of the Hunters Hill restaurant scene; in 2018 after it’s new refit, the doors opened to serve Chef Simon Sandall’s simple, freshly prepared vibrant food created for the community.

The Team

Simon Sandall has honed his culinary skills in high profile kitchens across London and Sydney for over 30 years, most recently as Head Chef of ARIA Sydney and Executive Chef across the entire Morsul Group. He is passionate about fresh produce and developing dishes for the new seasons and creating meals for the community of Hunters Hill of which he has been a long term local.

Susan Sullivan’s Restaurant Management experience spans over 30 years in some of Australia’s most awarded restaurants. With an unwavering attention to detail and passion for customer service she takes great pride in mentoring and developing the front of house team and creating a warm and welcoming environment for Boronia Kitchen’s valued customers.

The menus at Boronia Kitchen are inviting, innovative, responsively seasonal and in parts as familiar and welcoming as a favourite family dish.

Our dinner menu showcases the best of Australia’s produce brought together on the plate with passion and an element of fun for meals to share with family and friends. There are breakfast and lunch options for a family gathering, mid-week business meet or a chance to escape for a quiet coffee.

Sommelier Luke Sullivan has written a concise yet diverse list which includes some of Australia’s classic styles combined with a range of more eclectic international wines. There is also a focus on sustainable producers making honest wines that are true expressions of their region.
